Want to keep your Yahoo! email?
IF you haven't used your Yahoo! email address in the last year, and you want to keep it, now's the time to login and reactivate it.
Yahoo! yesterday announced it will be providing users the opportunity to register their own personalised IDs.
Jay Rossiter, head of SVP platforms wrote on Yahoo!'s blog: "If you're like me, you want a Yahoo! ID that's short, sweet, and memorable like albert@yahoo.com instead of albert9330399@yahoo.com."
How is Yahoo! going to make these IDs available? By resetting emails that have been inactive for the last 12 months, and putting them back on the market for reclaiming.
Which means if you haven't used your Yahoo! email for the last 12 months, you run the serious risk of losing it.
